Good point! I'm planning on adding folders soon, as well as search.

Mike Knapp: Awesome. Great work. Would folders be purely for organization of the KB? or would it impact the bots ability to gain context/answer questions?
Mike Knapp
Jason Taylor: Hmm, good question – I might experiment with both. My only concern in using the folder names in context would be if the folder structure leaked some private information.

Mike Knapp: Interesting. Why would the folder structure leak private information as opposed to the snippets?
Mike Knapp
Jason Taylor: My thinking is that the bot owner knows snippets are public, but they might not realise folders names would be exposed. So they might have a folder called "Project Titan" (an internal codename), and then users are like, "What's project Titan"? Or "Annoying customer questions".... But I do like your thinking around giving more context based on the taxonomy. Perhaps the simple answer would be to tell people folder names are public.

Mike Knapp: Or why do folder names need to be public? Could it be for KB organization only and not be visible to the users on the public facing side of the bot?
Mike Knapp
Jason Taylor: Yes, that's definitely possible. I'm currently implementing drag and drop files (see *attached). Adding folders after that – if necessary – should be relatively easy.
